>>100423129Quite a few people use Holos as an emotional support crutch. I've on a few instances seen people say Holo did more to cure their depression in weeks than years of prescriptions ever did.
With this kind of responsibility of literally being some peoples' reason to get out of bed in the morning, emotions can fly high and fierce when there is a risk of feeling rugpulled and that they're about to crash back down if/when their oshi leaves. A graduation is a feeling of that moment especially for people like hoomans at the moment. Some people take out their anger at a disruption of one of the few things making them happy out on the girl, others on Cover itself. Maybe kinda both in a way only they pretend real hard they're good nice people in public and will cling to and follow the girl's reincarnation regardless of the rather massive loss of all the Holo vibes and natural social connections and collab sphere it provides.
For individual fans whose oshi graduated they feel like they are caught at a moment where Rome is splitting between East and West and things will never quite be the same afterward. I have no suggestion of where to side but do think people should fucking stop treating Cover like Disney and Holos as Disney princesses. The girls aren't perfect either and if all that is too much to bear you need to stop being so mentally weak and start to gird yourself imagining a post Holo existence is actually possible for you if you want to follow your oshi more than the company. Really I would think most people will just watch both and I think most do still, but when girls like Fauna started the le management disagreement meta it makes it harder to argue that everything is smooth and amicable.
