Especially when we have more female fans than ever before. Its because they are fucking boring. The male vtubers also cannot hide the fact they are in an antagonistic relationship with the audience because they got close to the valued gal the audience has affection for. They literally cannot hide that and it shows nearly 99% of the time. It has little to do with jealousy and more because its annoying as hell. The only reason the starting collabs get any sort of traction is for drama, and that is proven because a large portion of those fans love toxic shit to masturbate over, not fun or productive content because they don't bother to support those boys outside of collab content because shitflinging IS the content they want.
And their indie "oshis" have been trying so hard to pretend on gaining that Holo formula they end up crashing out all the time because they're often backstabbing bums and can't bother maintaining a facade of decency. That is the reality. Being more disingenuous about the situation won't save male vtubers or Stars, but accepting reality just might.
