nah. poshie was the merch manager during the long period when vshojo merch kept having massive delays because it was outsourced to multiple other companies that were run by fuckups. they recently got out of those contracts and started doing their merch in house. so basically she was probably just let go. matara's contract was seemingly just not renewed on vshojo's end, we don't know why but it's unlikely to have anything to do with poshie. mtd quit because he is a content creation-type guy and vshojo was not utilizing his talents and probably has no plans to in the future. he was shuffled around to a few different manager-type roles during his time at vshojo that he seemingly just didn't vibe with.

Vshojo has been revamping their merch situation for a couple of months now
Poshie was the head of merch when vshojo didn't handle stuff themselves
they outsourced it and fuck ups happened all the time with merch being delivered 6 months later sometimes
compared to now that they are shifting everything in house, and merch is getting delivered within weeks of purchase
Also Henya just had a huge merch drop and Zentreya is teasing merch so I don't think is that big deal
Plus whatever is in their store currently

If it's just allowing 1440p source but doesn't come with an increased ingest bitrate, then that shit is indeed pointless and will look much worse than 1080p does outside of near static streams.

I think giri streams her kitchen at 1440p but she's one of the few cases where it wouldn't severely degrade quality due to the bitrate, it's a mostly static image
besides that I don't really know anything else about it sorry
