I was an unironic incel, unconditionally hated every women with every fiber of my being, was constantly angry online and was very caught up in politics.
I was the kind of person who would tell women to kill themselves in online games and thought i was in the right.

when I started watching vtubers, I somehow mellowed out pretty quickly, I stopped partaking in flame wars in political echochambers, I stopped raging in video games and just had fun talking about content I enjoyed with other people who enjoy it. fun things really are fun.
noticing how much work these women put into their streams to entertain us and how they liked a lot of things I liked too, made me question my worldview quite a bit.
what the fuck was I actually so angry for? why was I not doing anything productive in my life?
after more than a year of watching vtubers now and being inspired to do better in life, I can only laugh at the fact, that all I needed was listening to some women who share the same interests as me, through a medium I like.
