I can't see how many people benefit from someone being a doctor, since everything is done through hospitals and doctors can't change that shit on an individual level, a GP I could understand but not a doctor. Likewise lawyers are considered attractive jobs even if it's some shit unrelated to you like a corporate lawyer. Other jobs aren't as "sexy" as those, but people still respect them, e.g.trades. But if you say your job is just to stream online, no one cares. You also need to specify you stream or people will think "influencer" = OF girl.
Most people have normal jobs and I can't see them relating to streamers, it's why streamers date streamers and I have never understood why people wnat to date vtubers becuase of how different our lives are. I may watch some streams now and then, but I can't say I view them highly since I play games in my free time and they do it for a living, it also has no real meaning to it, while the stuff I like about a bunch of people in my life is their work means something, if it doesn't then I don't really care about their job, but career 100% has an impact on how I view people. Even if you don't have that career if you strive for it I can still respect that if you don't have it, but I just don't get people who don't seek meaningful work, something that contributes to society. E.g. hearint Bat was a paramedic made me like her more (I still won't watch due to her personality filtering me, but I respect her more).
