She wasn't the popular type but probably not bullied hard either, just the type to not stand out for much. And then as a young adult she creates multiple internet famous memes out of nowhere, she was basically shit posting. No one really cared who created those memes they were just the thing of the week, so she didn't have much pressure, she probably just thought it was cool something she made did so well. But then she joins Hololive and she has modest expectations, like she's hoping for a few hundred thousands subs if she works hard. Maybe 500k or whatever a middle tier holo got at the time. Maybe in a few years of hard work and maybe she can even meet her idols, like Aqua. And she just explodes coming out of the gate, surpasses all expectations and blows everyone out of the water. She gets popular fast and everyone wants to talk to her and collab. Some genuinely want to be her friend but most are probably just hoping to leach and advance their careers. And everyone is expecting her to just produce gold when she doesn't believe she's doing anything special. Also the language barrier makes everything harder. Shy people already have a hard time asserting themselves and being heard, and now she has to communicate with some Japanese business person through a translator its probably extra stress on top of everything. And also communicating with JP members is hard for her because she's this mythical being that no one understands why she got so popular. Not even Gura probably knows why she blew up so hard, is it the memes, the singing, the personality, the cute voice, the avatar, Covid? Maybe it was all just a fluke as far as she knows. But now the pressure is on and she's just trying to keep up.
