And Kiara being european is exactly why I think that she seems more left-wing to Americans that she probably is.
I get the feeling that she's more of a centrist, who isn't much invested in politics at all, aside from occasionally commenting on the political circus in the US on twitter.
And with the european center being to the left of the american center, american right wingers here just see that she isn't on their side and conclude that she must be on the other side. a.k.a the american left, which likes to waste time on bullshit identity politics.
