Mumei being the avatar of civilization probably means that she is the Owl of Athena with some touches of Moloch due to her hostile tendencies.
The Paradise is definitely the Garden of Eden in Biblical cosmology, which means that IRyS was there to witness the war of her two kins (angels and demons) as well as the fall of man.
