Because a vague statement like "drop schedules" could either be suddenly putting out a schedule, or giving up on them entirely.
For example, "drop an album," or "drop a sick beat" implies putting the content out there suddenly. "Shadow dropping" is a term for releasing something with no advertising.
But it could also easily mean drop as in to let go, so the whole sentence of OP ends up unnecessarily confusing.
Thankfully context clues get the proper message across (The content within her schedules are sparse.)
tl;dr I fucking hate my backwards ass country that allows words to mean the opposite of what they used to. (literally, etc.)
