They have no natural understanding or commonsense, and they put their foot down on things that aren't incorrect.
They also tend to focus on either American or British English and can't deal with both, so they will have a conniption if they see color vs colour or maths vs math. Another one is that they drill it into their head that your speak English well not good, but then don't understand that the English that is spoken can be good or bad. Another one I saw recently suggested Gura manhandles herself in business, misunderstanding the usage in a way a native speaker would never, but probably looks fine from a dictionary definition. It's always shit like that.
