I once had a dream when I was working in an airport and HoloEN all came through, they all had their visa in order except Ame who kept insisting she was British and didn't need a visa to enter the country.

She gave me an American passport so I detained her.

Later me and the other members of HoloEN ate chicken in the foodcourt except Ina because she's so fucking boring my subconscious forgot about her lmao.

I've only ever had one vtuber dream, it was when I fell asleep watching Suisei:
I went to a meet and greet vtuber event where Suisei was the main talent. I assumed it was going to be a video call like the valentines day events, but when I got to the booth Suisei was an actual person, a human who looked just like her avatar. We talked briefly, until my time was up and I had to leave. I went to the merch stand, then started to walk home until someone (I couldn't see who) called my name. I turned around, only for them to drug me with chloroform, at which point I passed out.
I came to in a blank room, unable to move. At some point later, Suisei came into the room and explained I was at her house, and she had broken my legs so I couldn't escape. Apparently being unable to date (as an idol) left her sexually frustrated, so to cope with her urges she would kidnap people to use as sex toys until she got bored. She ran her fingers through my hair, said there was something she wanted to show me, then left the room, and that's when I woke up.
I wish the dream lasted longer, because it was kinda hot.

I never was much of a fan of Miko and I still don't really have any strong feelings about her but 2 weeks into her absence I had a dream where we quietly sat together on a park bench enjoying the moment. I goslinged so hard in the dream but I still don't really care that much about her.

If you have a normal sleep cycle then you are dreaming, you're just not remembering it.
Try this: wake up a bit earlier than usual and get out of bed for just a minute or so, go take a piss or something. Then go back to sleep for another hour or two. I find it much easier to remember dreams I have in this extra bit of sleep.

My theory as to why this happens (at least with the meditation) is that for younger generations such as millenials or zoomers, whose brains are totally fed up with information every minute of every day, it is harder to go through the process of organizing information from past days, while after meditating you can clear your head to a point and so the resources for a dream can be better "accessed" while in REM.
