>>100939819Cover wasn't Gura's brush. They may have been at first, but by the end they were a ball and chain around her ankle.
>>100940641>There's a reason they can charge so muchAnd that reason is their talents. And because they're based in Japan, the home of corporation worship and JP idol culture. And because of the blue dorito branding. It is NOT because of Laplus' non-existent gravity-defying hair "physics".
>Maybe you're too stupid to "appreciate" the shiny keys being dangled in front of your faceI reiterate - you are an idiot. The FantomeThief concert did not look like a "highschool project". Their very first concert did, but pretending that applies to later concerts is ironic. It shows you are incapable you are of fairly assessing or appreciating production, or improvements to it, over time.
As for the stage itself - oshiSPARK's upcoming Virtual Vacation is happening at the United Theater on Broadway, picrel. Not on the same level as Makuhari Messe or even quite the Kings' Threatre used for BD, but definitely a huge upgrade over the FT venue.
Point being, they nearly sold out THIS place. With a concert starring two of the worst singers/dancers
formerly in HoloEN + two Literally Whos. What do you think that means for the future, when the operation expands even further and we finally see Saba headlining an event?
>You are confusing analogy with metaphorNo I'm not. Your metaphor makes use of an analogy, and a ridiculous one at that, by suggesting that Gura leaving Cover is analogous to losing the use of her legs.
Nobody suggested this lame strawman you made up where Cover's resources weren't useful for securing opportunities of the sort you mentioned, nor that it would be "as easy" for an indie to do something similar. That does NOT mean they are irreplaceable, or that securing major partnerships would be impossible through other means, especially in the future. You are a moron, QED.
>DokiAnon... she gets way more than the nothingburgers you mentioned. I don't even follow her but even I've heard about that vtuber esports tournament she hosted, the PC case collab with Hyte... she even got a fucking Nendo months ago, when Mumei got fucked out of hers. Also, wasn't she approached for a collab by Konami? And didn't she have some Touhou event where one of the Touhou creators showed up in the flesh or something? Or was that another indie?
The point is, no, there are going to be way more opportunities beyond just shilling for Huel.
>"I never said this thing I said and am saying, I said the opposite">*continues saying the thing he says he never said*Cover may well have given Gura her "wings" (i.e. opportunities to accomplish things using her talents) for the first two or three years or so, but those days are loooong gone. She has her own wings now - she doesn't need Cover to unlock her potential.
>Yes. Apparently they are.Holy retard. Even Dooby's Discord channel is pretty shitter-free, and that's all thanks to like, ONE guy who's a full time mod. That's literally all it takes to filter shitters - the tiniest bit of thought and common sense.
It's true that Cover generally has a knack for picking the cream of the crop. That doesn't magically make it impossible for Saba to avoid "unsavory people" if she wanted to, say, join a big Minecraft server. I'm sure there's going to be people she doesn't become besties with, but that was true even in Holo. Amesame and SNOT stood out in particular for a reason, but even so, her interactions with Mori, Kiara, Ina, Sana, Bae, and IRyS were, consistently, totally fine and inoffensive at worst. If there's a big server or collab, I'm sure it'll be similar - self-segregation with Dooby and Nimi, MAYBE another friend or two, and cordial token interactions with passersby. The truly cancerous shitters and dramavultures glow like a fucking Christmas tree, and I trust her to steer clear even without any outside assistance.
>Find me another indie vtuber who's done XSaba wasn't indie until now. And as others have pointed out, gubmint contracts with content creators and thr like are becoming more and more common with time. Why WOULDN'T she be on that shortlist, when she's ALREADY been featured in an Olympics ad, already sang at the Dodgers Stadium, already worked as a tourism ambassador for Tokyo, already been featured at the Sendai aquarium, etc. etc.?
Your doubts are based purely on speculation couched in delusion. Not only should you believe in her, but simple common fucking sense says she can do it again, just like she said she would.
>>100940836We're telling you *now* that we obviously fucking will. Don't kid yourself.
