Yes, sick people FREQUENTLY touch their own faces, and also other things in their environment. The "other people" part was secondary. On top of rubbing our fucking noses to clear up mucus etc., we also do things like rest our heads in our hands, scratch itches, eat, smoke, shift our glasses, pull the fucking masks down to breathe more easily when we feel like it, and so on and so forth.
For the general population, no, masks do NOT provide an "additional step" to the process of transmitting an infection - they simply make one of the existing steps easier.
No, it is NOT better to keep pathogens in improvised incubation chambers so they can reproduce like wildfire and keep continually spreading a heavier, continually-replenished pathogenic load onto your grubby little fingers when you inevitably touch your face - which I assure you, you both do waaaaay more than you realize, and you just *think* you don't because - ironically enough - you have never been fucking trained. It is, as a matter of fact, much, MUCH better to let the pathogens die within a few short minutes instead by letting the moisture freely float in the atmosphere where it is subjected to exposure to the cold, dry air, and to sunlight, etc., or onto a relatively inhospitable surface that can be easily wiped down or avoided, or AT LEAST a part of the body you don't touch so often and isn't quite as *optimal* for pathogenic reproduction, like say, the inside of your coat sleeve. *Anything* would be better than advising laypersons like yourselves to wear fucking facemasks.
I repeat - capturing the moisture in a mask and giving the pathogens an ideal breeding ground DOES NOT "contain the sickness to the sick person" UNLESS you pair it with other highly stringent behaviors and procedures that fucktards like (You) are obviously not going to be practicing, let alone the hordes of people out there who are somehow even fucking DUMBER.
You do not fucking know what you are doing. You do not know what you are talking about. Even after having the concept explained to you as bluntly and clearly as possible, you are some-fucking-how STILL not understanding and stubbornly sticking to superstitious, ritualized stupidity.
