But I think it is just the inertia of a crowd, there is no leader of global and if you listen to their mods they of course don't wanna surrender their 15 mins of fame and will never just tell them it's safe to go back in peace. In reality you could teleport them all here and things would look the same.

Because ultimately the people just want the /here/ experience and to pretend it's just a fixed Global on an idealized /vt/, and not to be reminded they are on some literal who janky site run by nobodies. When there are good signs of actual fixing going on here I think they should get their heads out the sand.
