>>101012387They can't fire homostars because it would be a massive hit to their reputation. Consider Yagoo's position:
>can't claim they're unprofitable because smaller or similar size profitable groups/corpos exist>can't claim there's no market for HomoJP because Japan is THE place for idols, host club activities, vtubers, anime-related stuff, and so on>can't fire HomoEN and claim there's no demand overseas because NijiEN fags were literally printing money (before they self-destructed)>can't blame it on external forces (politics) like with HoloCN because all homo staff members work at Cover HQ, and there''s no underlying controversy related to the branch>can't blame it on the platform because homos are free to stream wherever they want with no repercussions>can't say the company doesn't have (or didn't have) the money to spend on the homos because they're absolutely swimming in money when you consider how much they've invested into holoearth>can't blame it on the talents because Cover were the ones who recruited all of the holostars based on their own standards as opposed to buying another company/group and integrating them into Cover corp>can't justify giving away the audience they've already built to their competitors and abandoning the whole market of male vtubers because others are still making good money there>can't say you don't have the facilities to support them because multiple talents have already exposed your shitty hiring practices and have talked about studio rooms being converted to lounges because of lack of qualified employees who know how to work the 3D stuff>can't justify waiting for over 5 years to nuke the branch I could keep on going, and some of the reasons are somewhat irrelevant on their own, but most of them would definitely be brought up at some point. No matter how you look at it, nuking holostars would mean Yagoo and Cover are extremely incompetent at everything they do: auditions, staff hiring, promotions, market research, and so on. It could lead to Yagoo's resignation, which in turn could lead to some talents leaving, and investors fleeing due to uncertainty. They might as well admit that they have no idea what the fuck they were doing all these years, and that everything was just pure luck and snowball effect.
