The times I've seen it have been people spamming it on the front page and someone posting it in some petty argument. In both cases part of the disgust was that someone would not only save that shit but post it for such small reasons. I can understand a lot of shit people do on here, even shit like the (2D) toddlercon spam earlier today, but not going that far.

Yeah, that was actually the example I was thinking of.
It's funny, earlier that week I was actually starting to feel worry over me liking loli stuff. Better to know I still have the right response to the real stuff at least, even if it put me off the anime stuff for a while for obvious reasons.

Just hopping into this argument now, and while that chart is absolutely retarded I will say that in Japan girls who are small, youthful and petite, but still clearly teenageish/pubescent will absolutely be considered loli characters. Heck, go back to the origins of the term and 'loli' is used mostly for those in the 12~15ish age range (physically). If anything the restriction of 'loli' to girls who are clearly pre-teenager/pre-pubescent is the western degeneration of the term.

However, neither Rushia's design nor demeanor fit with what entails to be an actual loli - what you have described as Form Purist. I 100% agree that Rushia would fit in the same category as what Azunyan from K-On would fit for example; however, that shouldn't be qualified as a loli. It's not an issue of the meaning of a word changing, it's an issue of a word losing meaning by applying to several things in the same context.
If "literally" can mean "figuratively" it has become it's own antonym, making it meaningless.
If "loli" loses it's distinction from "petite" or "teen" then there will no longer be any word to specifically mean loli, enfeebling the language.

Again, I don't think the western sphere had much influence over LO or it's likes. The term organically changed from the original meaning to fill a niche that didn't exist before.
