Last year, in the FY 2024 Q4 report, when they stopped showing the EN bar graph, and announced that their revenue forecasts for FY 2025 did not include any revenue from their overseas branch.
And since then the branch has gotten fuck-all in terms of marketing and support apart from contracts which had been signed before the Q4 report was published (remember Niji Encounter?), the bog-standard birthday and anniversary merch, and 3D debuts - and even that last one crashed like the R-101 when they got caught bending over backwards to avoid bonking a sex pest.
Rather than looking for a way to "fix" Niji EN, they should look for a way to merge or close the branch without angering the investors in the process.
Fortunately for Anycolor, Trump imposed an asinine and unpredictable tariff on Japan. This means they can just put out an IR release effectively saying "Force Majeure lol" to close EN without losing (too much) face with the shareholders. The shareholders probably think the EN branch is their US branch, and either don't know or don't care that not all 32 livers live in the US (and at least 2 live in Japan)
