The "parasocial" stuff is way overblown when people like Suisei have said similar stuff while in Hololive and one of the last things Mumei said as Mumei was that she "reciprocates" her fanbase.
Her struggling with streaming comes down to the fact that she ultimately does not like playing games and anyone who has that problem won't stream much because games are the easiest long form content. ERB and Nerissa are currently struggling with this right now, same with Marine in JP.
