Selen's biggest mistake was to have hinted that she was once PRED.

She didn't say it the same way the newest NijiJP wave did, immediately putting it in their debut. She got doxxed and had to say she reached it in the past. She also later confirmed she reached it with friends because faggots were saying she was solopred. Yes. The point thing I mentioned is weighing team members so you don't have an OP team of all Preds. Selen is NOT a current pred, and in history former preds are not weighed the same as current preds, they are weighed as their current rank. She's quite below it (not even Dia I think? She said she hasn't been grinding plus this as after Season reset) Yet they still marked her as such leading to this crazy expectation.

I don't follow Apex or know shit about it but I do follow Street Fighter and it works very much the same. The #1 ranked player in the world for online play was a guy named trashbox (I don't know if he is still #1 since its been a while) and he would do ok when he went to actual tournaments. However, he would get his shit pushed in by the actual pro players (guys like Tokido) even though the pro players were considerably lower ranked then him online.

I imagine Apex rankings kind of work the same way in that regard.
