>>101228162>She lost nearly all of her momentum due to constant trips to events and japan. (which were definitely a good thing regardless for her mental health) >Niji instead destroyed her psyche and connections, and she's still recovering slowly.Anon, with all due respect, you've been saying the same thing for years now. Yes, the first six months were rough, no one denies that, but for a while, she bounced back. Even if part of the attention came from people checking out the drama, she still managed to gain new fans and actually clean up her image for the people who actually gave a shit. Outside of whatever personal issues she had with other vtubers, there was hardly anything in her streams you could hold against her. Back then, Sayu was ambitious. You could tell she was working hard to rebuild herself and earn her place again
But now? Not so much. For whatever reason, she decided to slow things down and take constant trips right after redebuting with a new agency, and it’s tanked her viewership and growth. And she wasn't even doing that well before the NOA debut. On top of that, she doesn’t seem all that interested in expanding beyond her current core audience anymore
What I’m trying to say is, Sayu needs to take a hard look at herself. She should revisit that version of her from right after the Niji drama: the one full of courage and drive. Because right now, it just feels like she’s going through the motions
