To be fair, Denauth really was on track to rebuild trust until they sacrificed Twisty to the sexpest and the toxic shitters running and supporting the branch.
Twisty was exactly the sort of canary they needed. If someone like her could survive without getting executed by the performative trannies and bitchy infighting NijiEN was well renowned for, it would have been proof of the branch having changed. Unfortunately, exactly what you'd expect happened instead, which begs the question of why they hired her in the first place if that wasn't their plan.

And yes, they need raids and bots to get 3-5K. In some rare streams with neither, they were peaking at 1k-1.5K (which, to be fair, isn't that low in current Niji standards)

Yes, and the NijiEN is having to heavily bot streams to hide the fact they have lost most of their viewers. HoloEN is botting as well but not to the same level and it's not as widespread.
