people blame/claim bad moderation but it's been fine here for well over a month and they still haven't come back and just move goalposts and make up excuses. I thought they didn't owe loyalty to a site? they sure do seem compelled to be loyal to that other place now. this makes me wonder if in reality, it's perhaps really something else driving it and nobody is being honest about it.
it's so fucking intuitive and easy to blame our problems on 'others' - the mods, small corpos etc in order to avoid turning a critical eye towards the fragile state of the EN branch itself and its apparently, very-disagreeable management. the ball was dropped harder than anywhere else in Holo history, from EN management onto our heads. people just want to avoid contemplating it. we should indeed cherish who we have still but I'm not gonna pretend we weren't fucking decimated and past the golden EN age. all this shit with our bestgirls going to indies, who people generally spat on as a lesser unworthy scene, is mindbreaking a lot of folks. and you know what, I bet I can't say this on the other place without getting banned as an "anti" - and this enforcement against critical thinking is what they really are after, protection from themselves, from soul searching. they want to just post 'she did it', 'they are' etc spams treating the thread like a disembodied youtube chat and pretend nothing's wrong. this is much easier to do with no interference from reality if you disconnect yourself from the entire rest of the scene. to ignore the bigger picture, the context of where we are vis a vis this board now. I was here since the day Global was made (actually well before that too in /hlg/). I know what's up, I think it's the newer blood that doesn't. this thread went schizo, not the board/mods/community.
