>>101455035Waited for stream to end before I sperg out, but basically while I am baseline an enjoyer of hype moments, aura farming and people beating the shit out of each other (basically brainless entertainment), I personally find that JJK has good character writing beyond that, at least for the characters the author actually cared about, but that's a whole other story.
The power system, fights, build ups etc were hype and cool to just get pulled along with, but beyond that I really loved doing character analysis of a bunch of characters and their dynamics with each other/with the wider narrative of the world. There isn't really much of an overaching plot to it, because it's insanely character driven, but seeing as I actually liked the characters (not just in a sympathetic sense, but the writing of the character) I didn't mind that at all. I specifically find Gojo, Sukuna, Yuuji, Yuta, Hakari (manga only so far) and Maki to be very interesting characters that I spent far too long thinking and anlysis about. And this complex character writing is soemthing that Demon Slayer has absolutely NOTHING off (even if the fights are cool), which is why I don't care about that much.
