I've seen countless of the anons in question bitch about the games even after buying and playing them, and their reasoning is still like he said earlier.
"I hate it, but want to buy it anyway". That's usually followed up by "so they can keep making games in the future".

Go look at survival crafting shit like Rust or Ark. People hate them but can't stop buying it and playing it. The latter is the 4th best selling game ever despite being an unfinished, buggy P2W mess for years.
