>1st: Kiara = RoyKiara is Roy, not Marth. She wants to be close in, she’s got a shield and a short sword, for christs sake. She’s a phoenix! Y’know, the FIRE bird? Strong damage up close despite having disjointed hit boxes, not really made for swatting people away.
>2nd: Gigi = FalconGigi’s whole theme is “the chaser of Justice”. Easy to fall victim to “big hands = grappler”, but Gigi needs to move fast, swing big, and hit hard. Easy to do too, with that big tail of hers matching the big leg moves like up-air, f-tilt and d-tilt.
>3rd: Ina = MewtwoWhile Yoshi’s the classic DJC character, I think Mewtwo is the better fit. Long hit boxes for the tentacles, as well as better fitting specials. I also considered Ness, but the long Mewtwo tail won out in the end.
Honorable mention for ERB being Bowser, she should be marth since Thorn is a big-ass sword.
