Every experienced GM, even in other games, would have told you this was going to happen after Ina's intro session. You could argue "but the training wheels are on", but Mori's nature as a GM is to not give her players too much rough shit to work with. Killing a player is off the table whenever possible. This works well for newbies, children, or just having a laid-back game, but she's running fucking Hunter. The game where people die for a minor miscalculation, in the series where people dying is considered a fairly normal outcome. This is not a game a GM should be running if they don't want their players to be at risk of dying at any moment.

Tiara *did* get mindbroken but rolled recovery but still got inflicted with a negative trait, Watoto got fucked up has almost no hp, Yuul legitimately almost lost the card game, Is that not enough Consequences for you? Scout was never in any real danger to begin with

Everyone fudges rolls every now and then to try and make a tense moment within the narrative of the session or a memorable moment in combat, but theres a point where you must stop and it shouldnt really be done more than once per session or else it becomes obvious from the luck if you don't outright fucking say you're throwing on purpose.

Once the players know its over. The mask is off and theres nothing to take "seriously" anymore because it is now in their heads that the rules don't matter. The structures that hold the world in place are gone and it's not a game, it's no longer a story that they craft with you as the tard-wrangler but instead just a railway tour guide the DM wants to take them all on. Which is fine if that's what you're going for because your players are literal retards but what isn't fine is not hiding it.
