She lost a lot of good will and quite a few long time fans because of some of the decisions she has made. Bashing the fans who were legitimately concerned about her joining Noa and thanking/egging on pirup or whatever his name is were only some of the issues. I've seen some long time fans move on to other vtubers but they make fun of sayu now whenever she makes another dumb decision. Some fans just flat out refused to support Noa or sayu for joining them.

Graduation always meant leaving a corpo or organization. When people irl graduate from school (or from an idol group which is where vtubing got it from), it doesn't mean they vanish or die or retire forever. I just means they're just no longer a member of that school or group. The same is true in vtubing and it's how the term has been used since the early days.

Didn't you mix up the timeline? As far as I remember the talent thing happened first (and largely due to the manager/employee) and the manager got fired later. NOA's problem was hiring that manager in the first place (and Sayu would have known people who had to deal with her in another corpo), not the firing bit.
