>>101953547The Rhodesia-stans just keep all the racial dynamics unstated, from what I've seen. So it ends up just looking a lot like generic teaboo colonialism nostalgia (which also bad! but many people have a reaction like, "tis a shame, but it was a different time..."). The white nationalism part is just "if you know, you know".
I had a friend who shared some of the Rhodesia shit, but again it just seemed like colonialism nostalgia. And he was tradcath so it wasn't out-of-character to have that nostalgic shit. Even my other tradcath-connected friends were like, "oh, he's harmless even if a weirdo."
A few years later I ran into another person who actually explained the racial dynamics of it (he was from a white family that emigrated from Zimbabwe) and I was like, "HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, I know one of these fuckers." Told my tradcath friends as well and they were like, "okay, wait, that is actually beyond-the-pale and changes my evaluation of the guy. There's no way he didn't know."
So that's why I assume given the details Grimmi shared it's the Rhodesia thing because it absolutely is the kind of stuff that normies can't "see" and also does the military pastiche. She probably got a surplus military uniform shirt, maybe one of the under layers, which explains the quality/price.
