The cost of the fuck up is a pittance because it's not like those lights actually cost $20, that's just what they sell for. And they're already shipping a container or two full to America anyway.
Everybody is at least whole and anybody who just brought one makes out better. And if they have a list of penlights that need to try to recreate they can handle each complaint individually at a normal pace.
