>>102149105>No man who isn't shit is going into vtubing. men just stream normallyThis is such a weird argument to make. Being a vtuber is the perfect middle ground between cam and nocam streamer because you get to keep your real face out of the public's eye while still being able to show some sort of facial expression on screen. On top of that, it gives you something nocam streamers don't have: a face to a name for advertising and branding purposes. Vedal is the best example of that. Heck, if you were to look at many top Minecraft YouTubers with millions of followers, you'd see that they usually use their unique MC skins/avatars to represent themselves just to give their viewers some sort of visual familiarity. Vtubers are just a step above that.
Some other reasons why someone might choose to be a male vtuber:
>singer/music producer (e.g., Kanaria)>animator/illustrator (e.g., countless vtuber "mamas" and someone like pmaru)>likes larping>likes the aesthetics and/or the idea of being a vtuberPeople who argue that all male vtubers are sexpests, ugly, or talentless might as well say that all female vtubers are ugly, old, manipulative talentless whores. I'm sure there would be someone who'd agree with that statement, but it would also be incorrect.
Ultimately, many anons, including yourself, seem to be simply aggravated by male vtubers because almost all your exposure to them is:
>LGHDTV pushing homos like altare and groombullet>proven sexpests like aster>5 stories of random 3view female vtubers talking about how they were sexpested while being 1view/2views>dramafags like rev>random male melties like vesper or magni>nijien talents fucking each other (vox+reimu, ren+rosemi, kyo+enna, and so on)>male vtubers "invading" female chats or sending tweets (jutard, ren zotto)>male vtubers doing disgusting dick sucking and rape asmrs...and the list could continue for a while, but if you were to look at it objectively, you'd see that more or less everything has been done by female vtubers as well, and these cases represent no more than 5% of total male vtubers. You just notice and remember them because you hate men in your uWu waifu spaces the same way most men wouldn't like other men jumping on the pole to dance with their favorite strippers. That's all there is. So, why don't you and other anons just simply admit that instead of making illogical arguments against male vtubers? There's nothing wrong with having preferences, but making generalizations based on a few rotten eggs is the same as feminists saying all men are rapists.
