And from what I know about how people behave, they love to overlook creepy as fuck behavior if they already like the person. So if this particular event was a thermocline incident, it would've poisoned the well so that creepy stalker behavior by Aster got treated as creepy stalker behavior instead of "he's cute so it's fine". So you could probably rrat that she would've accepted the Japan flight and hotel invite without incident if he didn't blow it here. Because blowing it there caused future flirty shit to get side-eyed instead of reciprocated which then continues to cascade in an escalating fashion all the way to him trying to blatantly solicit sex while she's clearly trying to indicate 'no'.
But that's more of a meme domino thing rather than some sort of vendetta over a single minor incident.
