If you are supporting a creator and in some cases -giving money- to a creator under the pretense that you are supporting a woman only to find out they are secretly a man and PRETENDED to be a woman just to attract more viewers, you have been used. It's grifting dude, I cannot make this any simpler for you. It's the same principal as dating a woman online and sending her gifts only to find out eventually she was actually a man, though admittedly with some hyperbole as obviously a random vtuber fan isn't going to be dating or fucking the vtuber.
