I 100% cleared the game by the time Kiara did two streams, if you want to play it go play it.

I'm not watching her because I can't deal with the fucking dub.

I also don't want to see people being bad at video games except when it's funny. Failing to grasp problems and puzzles that I myself can recognize immediately is a huge turn off. This is why being bad at single player games is cringe.

Very accurate. JRPGs are just poor choice for streaming, no matter the streamer. And this comes from someone with library of close to 100 jrpgs since SNES era.

This games dub is better than the original for most characters, its unreal how bad the casting for the voice actors in JP was.

I think that's pretty much it. RPGs are too long to sustain an audiences interest after a few streams. Any high number for an RPG is likely because of the vtuber and not the game. I'd also say the same for retro, Nintendo and Platnium games since I've seen a similar level of interest for those. Most of the viewers are zoomers it seems.

not every streamer needs to play the same lineup of boring numberbait shit
it can bring in a lot of new people that haven't heard of hololive before and it's a lot healthier for the company as a whole

Even worse. Strategy games are hours and hours of looking at maps and tables of numbers while listening to samey BGM. If you aren't engaged in making the strategic choices, there's nothing to even look at. At least JRPGs have cutscenes and battles and stuff to break up the monotony somewhat.
