We also know it's not a Niji issue, because Niji's collab with everyone even when they shouldn't. That Garry's mod collab was an awful idea and they did it anyway. They shouldn't have. They really shouldn't have. But they did, and now everyone hopes they learned their lesson.
Anyway, the only reason collabs would happen with vshitshow and not the more professional nijis is if corporate had some sort of raging hate on for niji that's disrupting the organic growth of the western vtubing space. As a mere branch of hololive, there may be nothing anyone can do to overcome slanty eyed intransigence being 5G'd all the way across the ocean. If anything, this is a really bad look for Hololive because vtuber fans love waifus collabing with waifus.
