You don't make jokes about things that are benign, since laughter is the release of tension and benign things don't create tension. So by hammering home on Nimi it makes it sound like she did something plausibly wrong - not that she's actually upset, but that she thinks it's reasonable to be upset. It's funny, because she's making light of it, but in order to make light of something, it can't be light to begin with. Understand?
And it's confusing to me because it makes it sound they're not fucking their boyfriends behind their fans just like she was, but they absolutely are, which is why I asked whether they were jealous (because their boyfriends will never propose) or pandering (pick-me behavior to attract unicorns even though they themselves are secretly just as bad).
