Yep Kim Petras was the person Nyan bought tickets for lipgloss to see with her.
It's all coming back.
I was friends with a lot of the mods from back then who were friends with both of them obviously. I was also very active in the community, like I said I was there before she even started the whole vtuber thing. I was there when her twitch was littered with quotes from people like bidoof.
I was there when one of her mods literally died from diabetes.
I'm pretty sure somewhere on my PC I have a demo of her visual novel that she never finished.

Ill be honest that doesnt help at all figuring your past identity but its ok id rather stay anonymous too based on past history with her+group. If you left before she became a vtuber she likely wouldn't remember you. I was pretty active in the community, helped do things and was friends with several of the mods. I was a prime sub who renewed every month for over a year and watched her when she barely had 100 people who would tune in regularly.

And thats sad to hear, sorry she treated you like that. I had an experience with her that I disagreed with years ago and after confronting her/friends about it I think thats when I got pushed aside afterwards. I know I had my own problems that looking back on I should have handled on my own but I still think the stuff she did with her friends internally felt wrong too. I think what got me the most were the internal memes/jokes that were pushed in my face to remind me I wasnt close to them as I thought I was. Just hard to move on when you feel like there is no closure.

The thing that bothers me is she just gave up completely. Like the album didn't do great, but also didn't cost anything for them to record as far as I know. And in my opinion it wasn't half bad. But the chance of blowing up randomly from just doing music isn't high for anybody.
