Myth was the first EN branch, in a time and world where it was unknown whether people even wanted English speaking Hololive members. And true enough, a lot of people who were waiting for English speaking Hololive members did show interest. But most importantly, Myth didn't just fill a niche hole among vtuber fans, they drew in a lot more fans who would never have considered following virtual idols. Outsiders. Myth had to figure everything out on their own, with maybe a little bit of help from other branches, but when it comes down to it they did everything on their own. Figuring out how to entertain their fans and keep them coming back for more, figuring out how to circumvent restrictions due to the lockdown period and still do things together, they figured out what the fans wanted, needed, and they delivered. If Myth hadn't worked as hard as they did, we'd never have welcomed EN Gen 4 recently. Without the hard work from dumb shork, the time traveling gremlin, the rapping reaper apprentice, the floor potato priestess, and the fiery chicken, we'd never have welcomed any of the other generations. No Moom, no chaos rat, no sexy clock picking out a bikini, no memeing pebble, no hallo hallo bau bau's, no fries-on-pizza-panther. Owe so much more to Myth than a lot of people give them credit for, and I'm very proud of them for that. Proud they going strong!
Basically every Myth and Council member has specifically praised Ame multiple times for her jumping in to help them, and many of the various collabs were Ame behind the scenes providing tech help or ideas etc, even for Council. Things like all the VR Chat models and the main people used for videos still, came from Ame
She gathered basically all of the 3D animators and asset creators etc for her own projects, and then the rest of EN started using them. She was also behind most of the early trends in general, like pinned assets and legs on desks and color swapping her model color etc.
Kiara learned under Ame and has been very active in organizing things for the last few years. She's honestly had the most growth of any member in EN IMO. Early on she was kind of locked down because of the Takamori ship hindering her in the eyes of the fanbase at large (seen as an accessory to Calli) but after Kiara officially dropped the ship and wanted to stand on her own, she really really really grew fast.
She's arguably the one who has the best feel on the pulse of the fanbase as a whole. She lurks in a lot of the fan discussion areas and knows how people feel, and she is very considerate about trying to do things just to make fans happy. She's done so many collabs and events just to give the fans more Myth collabs because she knows how much we love them
Kiara also spent most of EN's history being the only EU member trying to cover that entire time zone for people, while also being one of the only EN members to play a lot of niche games. If you made a list of games that have only been streamed by a single member, I would say Kiara or Ame are probably still the #1 and 2 for all of En.
Calli has obviously been an absolute powerhouse on the music side of things, and has brought tons of attention to Hololive from people who had never even heard of vtubers. She has probably done more for brand recognition amongst non vtuber fans than anyone but Gura, and she hits a different outside market than Gura does.
Calli's growth as a gamer has been crazy to watch too. She was definitely not the best at games early on, to put it politely, but now days she's gotten pretty dang good at a lot of games. One night I watched her for like 2 hours, went to bed, woke up to see her still streaming and went to work, worked all day and took my lunch break and saw that she was STILL fighting Maelenia, so many hour streams on that one.
Calli has been behind a lot of cross gen stuff as well, like Chadcast. I believe Calli (or maybe kiara) has likely collabed with more members than anyone else in Myth, or probably EN in general. Calli was the first one to meet every EN member in person AFAIK
Gura, you could probably write a literal book on what all Gura impacted for the vtubing industry, she's basically the face of Vtubing that everyone thinks of when you say the word, so I'll just hit the high points
She's the OG Kusogaki and Memelord in EN, but she's also super caring and sweet. She's the most GFE leaning of EN besides IRyS, while also being the bratty imouto.
I think basically anyone would agree that EN just wouldn't be here in the form it is today without Gura bringing in the masses like she did. The others hit specific niches or brought specific technical skills to the table to build EN, while Gura brought in hordes of people who had never even heard of vtubing.
Her comedic timing, memelord skills, ability to avoid any controversies etc are wildly impressive. I don't wanna harp on 5,000 more words about Goobs because we all know how important our sassy deredere shark is
