We all know that the talents are /here/. Imagine being in Hololive and seeing thread after thread of this shit day in and day out. Imagine knowing that being "exposed" for having a relationship means having a significant number of your "fans" call you a whore and harass you non-stop.
Leave the numberfag shit about views and money aside for a second and really think about what this would do to you after a few years. Living in constant fear of people finding out that you're doing something that's considered completely healthy and normal for anyone else. How long could you hold out before going insane or saying "fuck it, I'll take my chances as an indie?"
Because western indie fans give zero fucks. As long as we don't have to hear your crying baby (or your partner, if they're unfunny or annoying) we'll take your work for what it is - a fun distraction where we might get lucky with a superchat and get a funny reaction out of you. Bonus points if you let us be a little horny on main when you tease us. You'll still have to worry about the occasional psycho, but you'll know that the vast majority of people filling your chat and Discord are there to see you, not a corpo-manicured version of you.
