Why are the ruffians so weird?

I really think Hololive since Myth's debut just developed a fanbase prone to being highly parasocial, especially among poor countries but obviously not only them. Of course gachis for JP are there too, but there's a marked difference in how their chuubas approach sensitive topics that ENs don't want to even address making it a compounding issue.
