They've been around for so long that their presences itself synonyms with Hololive and thus are venerated for their veteran status.
The benefit being around so early is that they pre-date like 90% of Holo's modern audience and that allowed them time to iron out all their flaws and become more "complete" entertainers away from the scornful eyes of the critics who are around nowadays
I think if Gamers debuted today they'd get shit on quite a bit, similar to HoloX, Relgoss, Flowglow do now, considering how different they were in their debut era
