Music video for music video, the average EN release actually gets a MUCH higher average amount of views than the average JP. EVERYONE has a few misses, the important part is how many hits you have and what your hit rate is. Making a comparison between ONLY fucking Marine and Suisei and anyone else, jp or en, is a completely unfair and insane metric.
You bring up the examples of Kiara and Mori and simultaneously say Myth is dead, despite the fact both of them have more successful MV's than say, Watame, Flare, Polka, Azki, Haachama, Botan, Nene, Lamy, Mio(This ones a bit debatable but I'm saying it anyways), Matsuri, Koyori(unless you count her group song at 20mil), even a CCV monster like Subaru, and a few more. They're extremely competitive even when compared to the jp side.
For EN music side, I do agree that things have been on a somewhat downward turn, but that's not entirely the case either, Irys for example went from being objectively one of the weakest music focused ENs ever to actually having a 2 hits within the past year, a complete reversal.
The biggest problem I feel, personally, for the EN side is that just not enough of the girls are actually fucking making music. Nerissa and ERB in particular being the most egregious examples, those two should be releasing a song at least once every 3 months, they are both completely wasting their obvious talent and potential.
