He usually streams using a discord reactive image, basically a png that moves when he talks. Excluding him creates some existential questions about 'what is a vtuber', does it have to be a vidtually rendered model through vseeface or can a live2d through vtubestudio count? Is the difference between a pngtuber and a proper vtuber the number of bones in the rigging? Are vrchat avatars vtubers?
The easy answer is to just ignore it until it becomes a problem, as long as he's hanging around in 7th place and not in top 3 then its not worth the trouble to begin the debate.

Kinda useless without hours streamed, no? That aside, think I can also attribute this to ENReco S2 since she also was the highlight of it (pre raids she almost always consistently gets the most tourists) and of course the bot problems exacerbated this

Doesn't work that way. Other holomems chose to do rebroadcast their streams like Nerissa, Kiara or ERB, Biboo didn't. Even with the bots she lost.

Sort of a plant, sort of not: Zentreya got their start doing VRchat stuff, which was a fairly small community so a lot of people knew each-other, and Zentreya made it a point to try and form connections with a bunch of them. So, the audience wasn't huge, but it was pretty dedicated, and people honestly didn't need much talent to stand out back then.

Then Zentreya started getting connections with Twitch people (especially when helping to start VShojo,) and there are basically a hundred ways for Twitch itself to view bot without causing legal problems, which is why Zentreya seems bigger than they actually are.

So, you can say they're a Twitch plant, but it's really more than Zentreya is clever enough to game things.
