I think people are conflating book smarts with street smarts, but not everyone has both. Nimi/Fauna/Lemon comes across to me as someone who was sheltered and introverted her entire life, based on evidence and behavior (living with a ton of cats, refusing to go to Japan to advance her career, misaligning with management when they asked her to step outside her comfort zone to engage in the company’s new direction, dressing like a grandma in all leaked pictures, even down to the wavy way she speaks that indicates a lack of confidence), so I’d bet my bottom dollar she’s not well-versed in business etiquette or a fountain of street knowledge.
And no, I don’t mean gangbanging hustler stuff, I mean basic common sense.
