Honest question do Americans have to take leave or is it just hard to accumulate the days? In Australia the later half of the year has almost no Holiday breaks and working Full time you accumulate leave quickly. If you have a total of 4 weeks most businesses want you to take a week off because they may have to pay it out.

Depends on the state but majority of states that is a no. You do get federal holidays off but that is around 10 days off the year but some companies do give you leave but that’s only for the larger ones typically and a lot of the times it’s not paid time off. Most Americans use their sick days off to take breaks, at least from what I’ve seen.

Some of the Phase girls are kinda menhera and don't stream consistently and are sort of directionless in their content. They're good streamers when they relax but when there's pressure from cons or a new gen they tend to break down. There's not a lot of "competition" to avoid having all of their fans siphoned by the new gen, but anything that makes them look at their growth and remember it's stalled because they don't stream enough will make them wig out. Panko is one who takes a lot of breaks for this reason. Lia too.

Anything like work trips, 3D, new outfits, etc. also makes them freak out because they want it too but don't have milestones to show for it.

It's basically the classic failed techbro start up story. A bunch of dudes with no idea what they were doing got some venture capital investment bucks by pitching big ideals. Turned out the underlying business plan was pretty much non-functional and they were robbing Peter to pay Paul basically the entire time. The whole thing blew up in their faces once the VC bucks dried up and they played funny money, crossing the line when they fucked around with charity money. The only silver lining is that one of the foundation stones of the whole thing was that the talents owned their own IP, even if they debuted via the company, so all the talents pretty seamlessly transitioned to being indies.
If Phase somehow crashes out because the money dries up, I don't know if all the girls will be able to take their shit and leave like that. But who knows, Sakana might be able to keep the plates spinning better if he runs into money problems.

If they were actively grinding they would be hitting sub milestones, most viewed covers, growth targets, sponsorships, etc. they could use to have big event streams and demand funding. They dream big but they're afraid to ask for anything because they know they would have nothing to say in their pitch. It's mostly in their heads but it's enough to make them spiral.

I am of the opinion that if 3D is 100k locked, it needs to be made 150k-200k for Gen3/Invaders/Kaleido. Those girls started out with a huge head start compared to Gen2 and especially Gen1 that started with 1000 subs that then got culled to 700 before debut.
