The more nuanced answer is that Coco's situation is far more sympathetic because had ZERO clue that showing "Taiwan" on her superchat metrics would cause such a massive blowback and if she had any level of foresight then she probably wouldn't have done it.
Sliver on the other hand is far less sympathetic because anyone who used twitter could see the outrage campaign and how streamers who played that game were getting embroiled in a shit storm, Sliver could 100% see it, Vshojo's brass could see it; which why they advised her to not play the game. But then she just did it anyways which is fine in a vacuum, but then she tired to make the ensuing harassment campaign which everyone knew would happen, the rest of Vshojo's problem as if they literally didn't tell her this was going happen, which makes her look a massive retard. In contrast Coco basically isolated herself (along with Haachama) from the rest of Holo and the only people who interacted with her like a solid 8 months were people went out of their way to do so like Fubuki, Flare or Suisei
