Yes Hololive does give them a big boost but it's very difficult to get in in the first place.
Also some of the girls are legit talented, like Kiara can sing, dance and speak 3 languages. CC can too, and play piano and violin.

Honestly I feel like Connor is just annoyed at Hololive because Ironmouse probably was in private. Why else would he even have a reason to even mention Hololive at all?
