I think ultimately this might be a good thing, it'll hopefully result in the modern internet crumbling and returning to a state of greed-free quirky optimism like it was in the early to mid 00s and before. Every facet of the internet (and tech in general) has gotten utterly shit to use. Search engines are useless, because they include results to similar questions, AI slop is forced everywhere and these shit companies are trying to force you to watch advertisements at every chance they can get.
