>AkiDoesn’t stream often enough, was absent in the major growth arcs,
>RobocoShe does stream often enough but not only she was absent in the major growth arcs but also she isolated herself from her peers to a point many die in the wool Hololive fans didn’t even know she was part of the group up until late 2020 (a lot like AZKi).
There were several “growth arcs” in that company that pulled everybody participating as either the protagonist or the secondary characters
>Minecraft “neighborhood wars” arc>Gen4 debut and Coco’s AsaCoco arc>”Okayu’s Harem” arc>Rushia-Marine-Shion-Noel-Okayu-Korone “Flare harem” love pentagram arc>Micra server pranks arc feat. Pekora, Aqua, Towa>Gen5 debut, Minecraft server welcome arc>“lapuz lazuri” / PekoMoona / Miko’s return arc >the “chinkout”>Kensetsu wars arc>HoloEN debut and rise arc If you look at the subs list every single of the millionaires were an active part of one or more of these arcs and it benefited all of the participants with growth and a recurring audience to pad their CCV, both for the duration and the aftermath.
And it doesn’t even mean being a direct participant: Haachama launched her solo “English domination” arc and tied her content on the newly debuted EN gen with great success, even if her direct interactions with them were minimal.
Mel was mostly absent on most of those arcs, having a brief passage with her “prison castle” right when Minecraft as about to explode but she doesn’t stream often and missed the boat.
Aki got stuck on Ark wasteland and missed it all, and was sick or injured in the EXACT moments she could have grown early on.
Roboco, like said above, isolated herself and was mostly absent.
The numbers game on Hololove is consistency, exposure and “tag teaming” your way up. This is even more evident on ID branch, with Moona, Ollie and Reine greatly overpacing her genmates for that exact reason.
