i've been dealing with absolutely fucking stupid japanese corpo autism at my own work recently and i'm starting to realize "disagreement with the management" belies absolutely inhuman levels of frustration
>get designated as feature driver, have to coordinate stuff across multiple teams
>one team is in japan (broken engrish, the whole nine yards) and keeps dragging their feet for almost a MONTH
>whenever i tell them "hey we're still blocked by the subfeature you haven't checked in" they come back with "we had an internal discussion about this and [incomprehensible autism]" responses
>ask the japanese skip-manager of that team if i can bypass them and get the same subfeature done by a different team that's literally doing nothing atm instead
>"no, prease diligently wait for the team to finish"
>the same skip manager is also the one riding my ass about the approaching deadline because my project is a hard prerequisite for his project to even start
>i tell him upfront that i won't be able to meet the deadline because HE is the one preventing me from bypassing the blocker
>"no, prease wait dirigentry"
>finally lose my temper and tell him to push his team to deliver or both of our asses will be kuso
>he immediately raises stink with my manager
>sends out a VERY long and retarded email to my manager and cc's me in there for some reason
>one of the lines literally reads "your subordinate has disagreements with the management, why?"
