We're in for a slow Saturday! Last night was Mel's Live2D debut so check the last thread's OP for a short post mortem that. Mel seems extremely happy with how it turned out though, even if she failed to reach her 12 hour goal. Normally Sundays are when streams are recommended but since this week was so stacked (Thursday in particular) and today's so quiet enjoy it a day early! There's lots to watch and tomorrow looks even more dead so you have plenty of time! Consider checking out:
Vei + Mel - Mostly Vei, as she spent the week grinding away at God of War and Valheim.The former is good if you want a nice long action story-heavy game to watch and the latter is good background noise building streams. But the easy winner here is Thursday's drunken collab. The trio of Vei, Haruka, and Melody initially began by playing Tricky Towers, but quickly transitioned to skribbl.io and seeing the way their minds worked in real time made for a fantastic experience as they barely seemed aware of where they were at times. Both Vei and Mel streamed it so pick a POV you like and watch from there!
Silver - While the odyssey she went on in Thursday's Valheim stream was a strong contender, Wednesday's Apex collab with Mira is the more absurd stream. The pair did not take the game seriously and went out of their way to annoy anyone they played with while Mira did a very convincing impression of a pre-pubescent boy. Given that Silver's not a super sweaty FPS player it's a surprisingly watchable stream considering it's >Apex
Mouse - A straight tossup. Speak of the Devil with Lord Aethelstan proved very entertaining as the soft-spoken sharpwitted bodybuilder regaled us with tales of what it's like to live in Japan as a weird streamer. It included the debut of a couple very interesting sound effects that are worth checking out. Fun as that was you also have to consider Wednesday's collab with the monkey. The pair played Valheim and it was a solid reminder of why the two work so well together. Especially once the drugs kicked in and Mouse was making bizarre requests and giggling like a gremlin at empty air.
Nyan - Less specific here but she streamed FFX for an incredible 36 hours across 3 streams. While much-slower paced and very story heavy FFX is her favorite game of all time and these streams run the gamut of being interesting, funny after alcohol, and emotional as some of the story beats hit her very hard. It's a LOT to watch though so it won't be for everyone.
That's about all there was this week so watch what you like. Or don't watch any of it and read a book instead. I can't stop you. Your time is your own and spend it the way you like, but if it's going to be here then make sure the thread stays comfy by ignoring bait, and being excellent to e ach other.
